One day closer to the end

Day 3 of the You Make This House a Home demo is now available to play in your browser. This update gives the new chapter its own focused page, so you can get into the game quickly without losing access to the existing localized demo.

What players asked for

• A direct Day 3 play page: the Day 3 browser build is available from its own page, with the game placed at the top so you can begin immediately.
• No loss of existing translations: the original homepage still points to the multilingual browser build. Day 3 is a separate experience while its new content is English-only.
• A clearer update log: the Day 3 page links directly to the full update notes, including the scope of the demo, content warnings, credits, and troubleshooting details.
• Better browser controls: mobile players can enter fullscreen from Play Now, while desktop players remain in the browser unless they choose fullscreen.

What is new in Day 3

• Explore a new area of the house.
• Look for what he has been hiding.
• Experience a new soundtrack and revised dialogue throughout the demo.
• The creator recommends starting again from the beginning to experience the revised flow.

Before you play

Day 3 is currently available in English. The demo still has two routes and does not yet contain an official ending. It includes psychological horror, unsettling imagery, blood, and themes of coercive attachment—please play with care.

A clearer way to find and play Sit-Com

You Make This House a Sit-Com is the separate parody companion game for You Make This House a Home. It is not a new Day 3 chapter, so it now has its own place on the site instead of being buried among the main demo updates.

What player needs this update addresses

• A direct place to play: the dedicated Sit-Com page puts the browser game first, so you can start without searching through external posts or download folders.
• A clear distinction from the main game: the page explains that Sit-Com is a parody companion game, not part of the Day 3 demo or a replacement for the main story.
• English and Russian support: Sit-Com is available in English and Russian. The Russian page explains where to select Russian in the game's Preferences menu, with a matching in-game screenshot.
• Desktop files that are easy to identify: the new download page lists the exact PC and macOS archives separately. There is no vague all-platform button and no unsupported-platform promise.
• Less guesswork before downloading: the download page includes a short extract-and-launch guide, keeps the browser-play link available, and answers the common language and platform questions.
• A better preview before committing: the Sit-Com page now includes screenshots from the game, with descriptive alt text for visitors using assistive technology.

One small navigation improvement

Sit-Com has also been added to the site navigation and to the main game homepage. Players can now discover it from the same place they find the main demo and Day 3, then choose online play or a desktop download from the dedicated page.

Start from the beginning

The developer recommends a fresh playthrough. Day 3 includes revised dialogue and a new soundtrack, so replaying from Day 1 gives the update its intended context.

Before you play

This is an in-development psychological-horror visual novel for mature audiences. The current demo includes more than 29,000 words and 161,000 characters, name and pronoun customization for the protagonist, two main routes, and no official demo ending yet.

The game contains body horror, gore, unsettling imagery, drug use, forced amnesia, loud noises, flashing lights, and screen shaking.
